Ireti Doyle was born on May 3, 1967 in Lagos State. After her primary education, she attended Christ School, Ado-Ekiti.

She later obtained a diploma in Mass communication and bagged a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos Plateau, Nigeria

Ireti Doyle is an entertainer vast in writing, acting, TV presenting and speaking. Basically,

she started acting in 1995 during one of her school strikes. She utilised the opportunity and auditioned for a role in the TV series Riddles and Hopes.

Her motivation began in secondary school while watching Joke Silva in Lola Fani Kayode produced TV series, Mind bending.

While building her career in the movie industry, she also ventured into hosting television programs.

She hosted shows like Morning Ride on STV, Nimasa This Week on Channels TV, e.t.c. She also became a social commentator and was writing columns for This Day Newspaper, City People, Saturday Vanguard, e.t.c

Ireti Doyle has worked with movie stars like; Toyin Abraham, Ayo Makun, Odunlade Adekola, Helen Paul, RMD, Adesua Etomi, Banky W, Sola Sobowale, Joseph Benjamin e.t.c.

She has also starred in Nigerian award-winning movies like Fifty, Torn, The Wedding Party, Merry Men, e.t.c.

Oge With Iretiola show

Ireti Doyle began the Oge With Iretiola show in 2000. It became a fashion and lifestyle show that celebrates and showcases Africa’s finest in terms of fashion and trends.

In the show, Ireti Doyle interviews entrepreneurs, entertainers and icons who also double as role models to the young and upcoming.

The show ran for 10 years and stopped. But recently, it was revived and premiered on September 1, 2019. Now, it airs on AfricaMagic Showcase Channel 151 every Sunday.

Ireti Doyle has interviewed young stars like Adesua Etomi and the popular singer, Simisola Ogunleye (Simi).

She discusses issues relating to self-esteem, peer pressure, and other social ills plaguing youths with solutions to the vices on the show.

As an entrepreneur, Ireti Doyle began an indigenous organic snail farm in 2017. Currently, she owns its entire production chain from farming all through to sales, with plans to become a leading supplier of 100% organic snails in Nigeria and abroad.

Subsequently, she began to write scripts. She wrote the Amaka Igwe’s Tempest, and other interesting stories.
