Biographical and family background
Opeyemi Aiyeola was born on 29 August 1977 in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria she hail from Shagamu, a small town in Ogun State in the south western part of Nigeria and she is the second child in a family of three children.
Opeyemi Aiyeola attended Our Lady of Apostles Private School in Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate.
After completing her primary school education, Opeyemi Aiyeola proceeded to Remo High School in Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained her West African Senior School certificate.
After completing her secondary school education, she attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria, where she earned her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting.
She later proceeded to Lagos State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Opeyemi Aiyeola joined the Nigerian movie industry in 1998 and acted in her first Yoruba movie “Aso Iye”.
She rose to fame after acting in the Yoruba popular movie “Ige Adubi” a movie that brought her to limelight.
She has scripted, produced and acted in several Nollywood movies which include Aso Iye, Teni N Teni, Ige Adubi, Timileyin Oluwa, Onilara, Apaadi, Adun Ifu, etc.
In 2015, she won the award for Best Supporting Actress (Yoruba) at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
She is currently one of the most talented and most influential actress in Nigeria.
Family and personal life
In 2007, she got married to Babatunde Olayiwola Owolomose and the marriage is currently blessed with two lovely sons.
She has a group called Opeyemi Aiyeola Rehearsal Group, which nurtures upcoming talents.
