She is an esteemed Nollywood actress, writer, and producer. She is married to the renowned Yoruba movie actor, writer, producer, and director Segun Ogungbe.

She had her early education in osogbo town, she attended St. Michael Nursery and Primary School for her elementary and primary education.

Wunmi Ajiboye completed her secondary school education from the Osogbo Grammar School.

In 2001, Wunmi Ajiboye obtained her Ordinary National Diploma (OND) degree in Marketing from the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State.

Acting career

Her Nollywood career started in the year 2001 when she was still in college, she was introduced to the Ray-Eyiwunmi caucus.

Wunmi Ajiboye was opportune to meet Murphy Ray-Eyiwunmi and Lasun Ray-Eyiwunmi and there her journey in the Yoruba movie industry began.

In 2005, she produced her first Yoruba movie titled: “Majoko” directed by prominent Yoruba director, writer, and actor Murphy Afolabi and edited by the duo of Yusuf Lawal (Yusluv) and Lafeet Abdulkareem.

The movie featured notable Yoruba movie superstars like actress Ronke Odusanya, Jumoke George, and Toyin Afolayan.

In 2019, Wunmi produced another hit with the title: “Olukoni”, directed by her husband Segun Ogungbe, and edited by Olushayo Adebowale.

The movie was shot with an old-school theme and featured some notable Yoruba movie luminaries like Odunlade Adekola, Saidi Balogun, and Jumoke George.
